hummus veggie pizza
Hummus and veggies and pizza – Oh My! Use hummus as a tasty base for your pizza creations using Mikey’s Pizza Crust. A tip from Mikey: Use hummus as a simple substitute for traditional pizza sauce to change things up while keeping your pizza low cal and paleo. Ingredients:
- 1 Mikey’s pizza crust
- 1 container of your favorite hummus
- ½ cup sun dried tomatoes
- ½ cup sliced mushrooms
- sliced yellow pepper, zucchini, red onion (and other veggies of your choice!)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350F and line baking sheet with tin foil
- Place Mikey’s pizza crust on baking sheet
- Bake crust for 10 minutes
- Remove from oven and layer crust with hummus as base
- Arrange sliced veggies over hummus
- Place back into oven and bake for 5-7 minutes, until crust is brown
